The Division conducts street sweeping programs on residential streets and main streets three times a year. Residents are notified at least 24 hours before a sweeping crew arrives. The Division also monitors hazardous waste dumps on city roadsides and alleys. The Department has a list of steps residents can take to protect their health and the environment, and it also offers monetary rewards for environmental protection.

    The Street Maintenance Division’s job is to maintain the city’s public roadways and alleys. It also handles street sweeping, snow removal, and repairing potholes.
